Register to Attend the Annual Ending Hunger Celebration Luncheon

The annual Ending Hunger Campaign luncheon will take place on February 12 at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport. This special event recognizes the contributions Maine’s credit unions made to combat hunger in the state.

During the ceremony, the fundraising results of the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger will be announced and the 2018 top fundraising credit unions will be recognized. This year’s event also will feature two guest panelists: Justin Alfond, Treasurer & Secretary of Full Plates Full Potential and Kristen Miale, President of Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Alfond and Miale are devoted advocates in the fight against hunger.  Under their leadership and with the assistance of their dedicated staff and volunteers, they are developing solutions to address the root causes of hunger. They will share their unique perspective and highlight ways our credit union network can continue helping hungry Mainers.

Registration is now open.  Visit the Event tab on the League’s website by February 5.  There is a limit of 3 representatives per credit union.
