Each year, Maine credit union employees and volunteers contribute thousands of hours in volunteer time to organizations and causes in communities across Maine. The CUs Share for ME program is a way for your League to track and quantify these efforts so we may communicate them to the media, political leaders, and general public. In 2017, Maine credit unions contributed more than 41,000 hours, and CU volunteers contributed an additional 20,000 hours of volunteer time to their CUs. In total, these efforts are worth approximately $1.3 million in donated time.
Reporting is completed monthly. To make the reporting process more convenient, credit unions now can complete their monthly report through a form on the League website.
