With the busy holiday season now behind us, we want to remind our credit unions to submit their 2018 Ending Hunger funds to the League as soon as possible. In order for funds to be counted as part of the Campaign’s 2018 totals, payments must be in hand by Tuesday, January 15. Checks or money orders can be mailed to:

Fundraising totals for the 2018 calendar year and the total pool allotted to each credit union will be announced at the upcoming Ending Hunger Luncheon taking place on February 12 at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport. Credit unions can send three representatives to this free annual event. Registration for the event is required and will open later this month on the Event Calendar tab of the League’s website.
With a League goal to have 100% cooperation from our credit unions, we hope 2018 totals will reflect another record-setting year for the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Since 1990, the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger has raised over $8 million, including a record-breaking $740,000 raised in 2017.
