Because of CUs, communities are richer places

Maine credit unions have a long history of enriching the lives of their members in the form of fewer and lower fees and higher dividend rates.  But, that’s not the only way in which communities are richer because a credit union is part of it.  Throughout the year, credit unions are involved in the communities they serve from volunteering to contributing.  Here are some recent examples of Maine CUs giving back.

Dirigo FCU

Dirigo FCU not only sponsored the Safe Voices 5K Run to End Domestic Violence but some staff ran it, too.

Town & Country FCU

Town & Country FCU staff, including Dave Libby, President/CEO (far left), participated in the Twilight 5K for the Maine Cancer Foundation, a charity which the CU is a significant contributor to.

Infinity FCU

Staff from Infinity FCU provided some sweat ‘equity’ at the My Place Teen Center in Westbrook recently. The staff spent time doing yard work and other cleaning up at the center.

TruChoice FCU

TruChoice FCU’s EVP, AnnMarie Lane, is pictured presenting a check for nearly $2,500 from the CU to McAuley Residence.
