League, Synergent and Maine CUs Receive Awards

For the second time in less than three months, the Maine Credit Union League and affiliated organizations or partners were honored with prestigious awards. At the recent New England Direct Marketing Association (NEDMA) Awards, organizations with ties to Maine credit unions took home an impressive five awards including three Gold Awards. In March and April, the League, Synergent and several other Maine credit unions took home national awards presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), bringing the annual award total for Maine CUs to sixteen.
The New England Direct Marketing Association (NEDMA) hosted the 34th Annual Awards for Creative Excellence last Wednesday, June 17, at the Boston Common Conference Center. Nearly 20 award show judges from around the country reviewed direct marketing campaigns submitted by a variety of New England-based marketing companies. There are a variety of different categories judges review including print ads, direct mail, broadcast, and integrated media. Judges are tasked to score each campaign based on creativity and results.
Synergent and the Maine Credit Union League were recognized, collectively, on five campaigns. Synergent was awarded Gold in the Interactive category for a Financial Tools Video Series featuring fun videos on account openings, chip cards, shared branching, and more, and a Gold in the Business to Business Direct Mail category for the Blueprint for Success Video Mailing Campaign The League was awarded Gold in the Image or Brand Building in the Integrated Media Campaign category for Maine Credit Unions' Statewide Awareness Campaign for the interactive website and videos featured on www.maincreditunions.org. Synergent Direct Marketing Services was nominated for its work on both Community CU's campaign, "Get Out of High Auto Payments," which was awarded Silver in the Integrated Media Campaign category, and Maine State CU's campaign, "We're All Maine," awarded Silver in the Image and Brand Building in the Integrated Media Campaign category.
