Maine Credit Union League receives Diamond Award for "Own It" Campaign

Out of nearly 1,500 entries from across the country, the Maine Credit Union League's Statewide Awareness Campaign, "Own It," received a prestigious Diamond Award at the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Conference in Anaheim, California.  Several other Maine CUs were also honored with Diamond Awards.

"The Statewide Awareness Campaign has had a positive impact in increasing the awareness of credit unions, and engaging consumers in a way we have not seen before with our collateral elements including extended video stories posted on YouTube.  We are honored that the Campaign was recognized with this prestigious award.  All Maine credit unions can share in this recognition, and be proud of the collaboration and cooperation that goes into not only supporting the Campaign but a willingness to share ideas to develop new messages and themes.  I would especially like to recognize the work of the Statewide Awareness Committee and our entire Marketing Team for their contributions to the current Campaign," remarked Debra Trautman, VP of Corporate Marketing for the Maine CU League.

Other Maine CUs receiving Diamond Awards this year include: Brewer FCU; Changing Seasons FCU; Infinity FCU; and Midcoast FCU.
