Annual Meeting & Convention
 The Maine Credit Union League's 70th Annual Meeting & Convention was held May 2-3, 2008, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine. The keynote speaker was Steve Ford, son of the late President Gerald Ford and a veteran TV and movie actor. Ford spoke about the importance of challenging yourself to be a person who takes the time to "help others and make a difference." He also shared stories from living in The White House to what his father was really like.
The dates for the 2009 Convention are May 15-16 at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta. The Annual Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, May 14 (location TBD).
