Maine CUs Partner With Local Radio Group To Introduce Maine Money Page

July 17, 2009

Maine's credit unions have partnered with The Portland Radio Group to sponsor the Maine Money Page.  This new site, which debuted recently, is a page and site that will be constantly evolving with new information for visitors on community-service organizations, money-saving tips, special advertising offers and more.  Visitors can also register to win $5,000 that will be given away by the Maine Money Page in September.

"Maine credit unions are a great value and this is a chance to introduce new consumers to the credit union difference while, at the same time, promoting community-service organizations and opportunities for consumers to save money.  Nothing like this has ever been done in Maine so it is exciting," explained Jon Paradise of the Maine Credit Union League.

Paradise also said the $5,000 offered by the Portland Radio Group gives people an added incentive to visit and visit often.  The Portland Radio Group consists of the following radio stations: Coast 93.1, 560 WGAN, 970 WZAN, 98.9 WCLZ, 101.9 WPOR, 1490 The Bay, and Big Hits Y-100.9.  Though the stations are in southern Maine, the Maine Money Page offers ideas and information for people throughout the state.

In order to enter, you must visit mainemoneypage.com between July 13, 2009 and September 20, 2009 and register as a Contest participant. Upon registration, ten entries to the prize drawing will automatically be submitted in your name. Thereafter, during the period between July 13, 2009 and September 20, 2009, an additional entry will be submitted in your name each time you click an advertiser's link on the Maine Money Page, but you will be limited to a maximum of ten entries per day.
