Social Responsibility
Committed to being a socially responsible organization, the League is an active participant in community service and a member of Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility. The annual Maine Credit Unions' Campaign for Ending Hunger, coordinated by the League's Social Responsibility Committee, has raised over $2.3 million dollars to help end hunger since 1990. The League also supports a number of other non-profit and charitable organizations though corporate contributions, volunteering, and by serving as board members.
