Strong bipartisan support for CUs as new Legislative Leaders were all League-endorsed

On Wednesday, December 7, the 128th Maine Legislature was officially convened with all 186 legislators sworn in by Governor LePage in ceremonies at the State House in Augusta. Though the new Legislative session won't actually begin until right after the start of the new year, leaders for both parties in the Maine House and Senate have begun their new roles. Food drives in Maine receive strong support from Maine's credit unions

Maine CU League-endorsed candidates have high success rate on Election Day

Although several automatic recounts will likely be triggered in a few races, unofficial results from Election Day point to a big winner - Maine's credit unions. Of the 160 legislative candidates endorsed by the Maine Credit Union League, 143 were victorious giving the League an overall endorsement success rate for the Maine Legislature at an impressive 89%.
