Maine’s Credit Unions Announce New Fundraising Record Of $471,744.19 For Ending Hunger In 2012

On Wednesday, February 13, at South Portland's Marriot Hotel Ballroom, Maine's Credit Unions announced that the 2012 Maine CUs' Campaign for Ending Hunger was another record-setting year with $471,744.42 raised, nearly $25,000 more than last year's record. Through buying power, the funds will enable food pantries and hunger organizations to purchase nearly $7 million worth of food to help Maine's hungry. Read More...

On Sunday, February 10, a record number of more than 300 players and 52 teams took to the court to help swish-out childhood cancer at the 19th Annual Swish-Out and Junior Swish-Out Childhood Cancer Challenge, held at USM in Gorham. Maine’s Credit Unions Launch 2nd Annual ’Sound Off’ Music Competition

Young & Free Maine, a program through Maine's credit unions, is again asking to hear from Maine musicians ages 18-25 through their Second Annual Sound Off Music Competition! From January 4 to January 28, the contest will be open to individuals, groups or artists.
