InfoSight is an online compliance resource with summaries, checklists and direct links to laws and regulations. This site is linked to the Maine Credit Union League's website and is designed to address hot topics of the day, new topics and features also will be added on a regular basis. Federal regulations will be available immediately, and state-specific regulations will be added shortly.
Sample categories on InfoSight include accounts, ACH, advertising, Bank Secrecy Act, bankruptcy and collections, board responsibilities, employment, field of membership, investment, loans and leasing, model policies, record retention, security, tax issues and to come later, specific state regulations. The site also includes frequently-asked questions, links to CUNA's e-Guide, sample policies and procedures, detailed analysis on specific topics and powerful search capabilities. You can even search other state laws and rules
InfoSight enhances your League's member service offerings. There is no charge to use and access InfoSight; it is supported by your League dues. This site was developed in 2003 by partnership with CUNA's compliance staff, and now 16 leagues partner with this site.
