Annual Meeting & Convention
2010 Recap:
The 2010 Maine Credit Union League Annual Meeting & Convention was held June 18-19, 2010, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. More than 600 attendees participated in this year's event that featured guest speakers Dr. Brian Branch, COO of the World Council of Credit Unions, and Mark Sievewright, Senior VP at FISERV and a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry.
Here are the recipients of the Maine Credit Union League's 2010 Awards:
Alexander Ferguson Award for Outstanding CU Volunteer - Hugh Keene, Board Chair, Community CU
James M. Gratto Award for Outstanding CU Manager - Kenneth Acker, President/CEO, TruChoice FCU
Jeannette G. Morin Award for Outstanding CU Employee - Tammy Creswell, VP, Maine Highlands FCU
League President's Award for Outstanding League Volunteer - Richard Lachance, President/CEO, Maine Education CU
Diane L. Oceretko 'People Helping People' Award - Dan Emery, Marketing Specialist, Maine State CU
2011 Information:
The dates of the 2011 Maine Credit Union League's Annual Meeting & Convention are May 20-21, 2011, at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta.
The Annual Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at a location to be determined.
