Maine Credit Unions Honor Five for Commitment To The Credit Union Movement, Communities
The Maine Credit Union League recently honored five individuals for their contributions to the success of Maine's credit unions.  The recipients were recognized and presented with their awards at a special ceremony held in Portland on May 4 in conjunction with the Maine Credit Union League's Annual Meeting & Convention.

On May 4, at the Maine Credit Union League's 74th Annual Meeting and Convention, the three finalists in the search for Maine's next Young & Free Spokester were announced and voting for the next Spokester is going on now!
NCUA Board Chair Speaks At Maine CU League’s Annual Meeting
"Credit unions in Maine and across the country are safe and strong, and have a bright future," stated NCUA Board Chair, Debbie Matz, in her address to the Maine CU League's Annual Delegates' Meeting in Portland on Friday, May 4.  As Chair of the federal regulator for the nation's 7,500 credit unions, Ms. Matz offered her unique perspective on a wide range of topics including member business lending, regulatory issues and the growing popularity of credit unions.
