The 14th Annual Maine CUs' Campaign for Ending Hunger Walking Tour is in its third full week.  Pictured here is Brenda Davis (l) receiving a contribution of $5,014 for ending hunger from Stacy Dow at Maine State CU in Augusta.  The Walk continues through December 2nd.  Follow her progress here as she walks across Maine.   The week of November 16th, Brenda and the Tour will be in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Oxford and Somerset counties.

Great For Members, Maine CUs Also Getting Recognized As Great Employers!

While the value and benefit that Maine credit unions provide to members have been well-documented over the years, Maine credit unions as great places to work is receiving lots of attention these days. From twelve Maine credit unions receiving designation as 'Best Places To Work in Maine in 2015' to two Maine CUs making a national list of 'Best CUs to Work for in America' to a former banker turned CU-employee praising the difference, the accolades for credit unions as employers are adding up.

Vote To Help Maine CUs 'Share the Love' By Winning Thousands Of Dollars For Charity

Four Maine credit unions are asking for your vote to help them 'Share the Love' and win a share of $105,000 for local Maine charities. From now until December 24, individuals can cast a vote once per day for any of the four credit unions competing in this national campaign. "It's great to see Maine credit unions involved in this contest that not only highlights some of the great things credit unions do for their communities but also may result in some significant money for various charities as a result," remarked John…

Maine Legislators: "CUs do it right!"

A panel of Maine legislators recently addressed an audience of credit union professionals about political involvement and relationships and the bi-partisan panel was unanimous in their praise of Maine CUs. "Maine credit unions are about bringing a positive message to Augusta, building relationships and getting involved," stated one of the legislators with the others nodding in unison at the event in Freeport.
