Maine's credit unions have once again teamed up with WGME CBS 13 and FOX 23 for the Winter School Spirit Challenge.  From now through March 4, area high schools will compete to raise the most food and money for the Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine.  It's yet another way to help end hunger in Maine.  On March 4, the winner will be announced and Maine's credit unions will present a $1,000 check for Financial Education to the winning school, as well.  Click here to follow the Challenge and find out which high school will be hosting it next.

Thank You!

A record 57 teams, more than 35 sponsors and many volunteers helped to make the 22nd Annual Swish-Out Childhood Cancer Challenge, coordinated by Maine's credit unions, the most successful ever.  A record-setting $52,453 was raised for the Maine Children's Cancer Program.  Pictured here is the winning team in the Elite Division, just one of five champions crowned on January 17, at USM in Gorham.  To everyone that contributed, THANK YOU!  Since 1994, the event has now raised nearly $375,000 for children with cancer and their families!  Click here for a complete tournament recap.
