 | A 'Big' Shot To Fighting Children's Cancer... The 18th Annual Swish-Out Childhood Cancer Challenge & the 2nd Annual Junior Swish-Out took place on Sunday, January 29, at USM in Gorham. Thanks to the generous participation of the community, a new record amount was raised! Thank you!

 | | | | | Maine’s Credit Unions ”Sound Off” With a Music Competition for Maine’s 25 & Under Crowd! | | | Young & Free Maine, from Maine's credit unions, is asking to hear from Maine musicians ages 18-25 through their Sound Off Music Competition! From February 1 to March 5, the contest will be open to individuals, groups or artists, and there is a great opportunity for the winner. | | | A ’Net’ Result Worth Cheering About! | | | The largest field of teams in the 18-year history of the Dr. Noel Paradise Memorial Swish-Out Childhood Cancer Challenge, presented by Maine's credit unions, helped the event to set a new fundraising record by raising $28,149 for the Maine Children's Cancer Program. | | | Maine Credit Unions ’Keep ME Warm’ With $30,000 Contribution | | | In response to an urgent need to help offset cuts to the federal low income Home Energy Assistance Program, known as LIHEAP, Maine's credit unions made a collective contribution to the "Keep ME Warm" Program of $30,000. The Keep ME Warm Program is a collaboration of the ten United Way organizations in Maine and the ten Community Action Programs. The contribution will purchase nearly 9,000 gallons of fuel for families across Maine. | |
