During this special ceremony, the fundraising results of the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger will be announced and the 2018 top fundraising credit unions will be recognized. This year’s event also will feature two guest panelists: Justin Alfond, Treasurer & Secretary of Full Plates Full Potential and Kristen Miale, President of Good Shepherd Food Bank.
Alfond and Miale are devoted advocates in the fight to combat hunger here in Maine. Under their leadership and with the assistance of their dedicated staff and volunteers, they are developing solutions to address the root causes of hunger. They will share their unique perspective and highlight ways our credit union network can continue helping hungry Mainers.
