Maine CUs’ Ending Hunger Walking and Awareness Tour

History

Founded in 2002, the Maine CUs' Ending Hunger Walking Tour is a partnership between Maine's credit unions and Brenda Davis, long-time ending hunger advocate in Maine and the Executive Director of BBC Opportunity Center, a hunger organization serving eastern Maine, to raise awareness and funds for ending hunger in Maine.

Quite a 'feet'!  The 2017 Tour was the largest ever.  From October 27 - November 28, the Tour visited 91 communities and 98 CU locations.  A food pantry in each community received a contribution.
