Job Description:

As VP Retail Services your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; the establishment of new business and personal member relationships to ensure that branch organizational growth goals are met in lending and deposit areas. The communication of branch goals to your team and the monitoring of results to ensure a high level of service excellence. The approval of consumer and real estate loans within lending authority. Strong representation of the Credit Union in the community; building relationships, serving on local boards, attending networking events and other appropriate community involvement. The direction, motivation and development of staff through coaching and periodic performance evaluations. You must be available to work weekends and nights.

Job Requirements:

Trust and diplomacy are required, as well as courtesy and tact as this position often involves extensive contact with others of a personal or sensitive nature. The ability to motivate and influence others is essential. External community contacts are important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) is necessary.


Two to five years of similar or related experience.


  1. A two year college degree or
  2. Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or
  3. Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
