Branch Service Manager

Cumberland County FCU currently has an opening at their new Yarmouth location for a management professional. This position supervises 5 employees all working from the Yarmouth branch. Anticipated branch opening is August 1st, 2018, so this position would roam, work, and train at the CU's other 4 locations in Falmouth, Portland, Gray, & Windham.

Primarily, the Branch Service Manager, provides an exceptional service experience at every point of contact. Secondly, can quickly identify the purpose or need of the member(s) and consistently sells the "Lending Call Center" model for those seeking a new loan, account business or can assist with the service request. Thirdly, oversees and monitors the daily activity of the branch; including the direct supervision of the Service Staff and the “Service Experience”. Lastly, works as part of a progressive and fast-paced Financial Services Team to fulfill all phases of member service, including but not limited to teller transactions/coverage, opening accounts, cross-selling loan and savings products, card processing, e-services, title work, insurance products, credit bureau analysis, and closing consumer loans.

Normal Work Schedule will be Monday through Friday and every other Saturday. Branch Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15AM-4:45 PM, Friday 7:45AM-5:15 PM, and Saturday 8AM-12:15 PM

Requirements
Strong supervision and coaching skills are required. Prior experience and a passion for service excellence is also required. Experience with consumer loan processes, knowledge of deposit products and teller operations is preferred. Branch flexibility, multi-tasking, dependability, excellent communication and teamwork skills and Saturdays are a MUST

Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of leadership, consumer lending and real estate lending experience. Excellent service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficient in MS OS & Office Products
  • Good typing/keyboarding skills (min 30 WPM)
  • Ability to learn multiple proprietary systems
