AVP of Operations
Northeast CU is seeking a strategic manager to provide effective leadership and oversight of NECU’s Financial Operations functions.
This includes ACH/Payroll; checks; mobile deposit capture; EFTs; Wire Transfers; ATMs/ITMs; Card Services; Account Research; Account Maintenance; Security/Fraud; and Member Records. Ensures functions’ goals are met while monitoring risks. Directs and coordinates department activities for effective support of and alignment with the credit union’s mission, strategic vision, and tactical objectives. Manage team members, products, and processes to maintain the highest quality service to members and staff of NECU. Ensures function activities adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations, GAAP, and NACHA / VISA / MasterCard operating rules. Leverages sound planning and innovation to drive process and systems change in anticipation of emerging trends, consumer demands, and regulatory developments. Provide input on emerging strategic opportunities to Senior Vice President.
The successful candidate should have 10+ years’ experience in the financial services industry with 5+ years’ experience in a financial operations management role; experience with all aspects of transaction processing - posting, exceptions, returns, balancing, settlement and research.
